What are German Chocolate Bars?

German Chocolate Bars refer to a specific type of chocolate known for its unique recipe and flavor, often associated with the popular German Chocolate Cake. Despite the name, this type of chocolate is actually an American invention.

German chocolate is a key ingredient in German Chocolate Cake, which features a distinct filling and frosting made with coconut and pecans. The chocolate itself contributes to the cake’s rich, sweet flavor.
