Last year a picture of starving kid went viral. You might know that kid which was abondoned by his family, last year. He is now making headlines again as he has now stater going to school. He is making a quick recovery, which is making internet sending love and prayers to this kid. A chiraty worker(Anja Ringgren Loven) that adopted him, named him “Hope”.

On 30th January, last year, she found Hope naked, starving, ridded with worms and in very bad condition. Acoording to charity Hope was abandoned by his family as they believe he was a witch. Now after a year little Hope is totally changed, as he is pictured healthy, dresed smartly and is ready to join his first day at school.

On monday Ms Ringgren Loven posted on Facebook: “It’s exactly one year ago the world came to know a young little boy called Hope. This week Hope will start school”

Ms Ringgren Loven and other charity workers rescued Hope, when he was believed to be only 2 years old. Hope spent 8 months fending for himself on the streets and living on scraps for food.

Ms Ringgren Loven, founder of African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation which works to break the damaging superstition, took Hope to hospital where he was given blood transfusions and treatment for worms.

The picture of Hope went viral and captured the hearts of peoples all around the world and even more than $1 million in donations around the world for the charity.

The money helped build new facilities in the southern village of Akwa Ibom including education building and clinics.

Hope now lives with Ms Ringgren Loven and her partner David and their son David Junior.
